[$11] Japanese Cheesecake 🍮(Original flavour) – A highly raved and made popular by @yegcravings, a Japanese cheesecake! The moment she mentioned it was comparable to Uncle Tetsu, I knew I needed to get my hands on this. Personally, I’m not a fan of traditional cheesecakes as I find them too rich and dense for my liking, until I had Uncle Tetsu about a year and a half ago in Toronto, I was M I N D B L O W N – I actually ended up buying one to bring back to Edmonton 🤣🤣
Anyway, it’s been awhile since I’ve had it, but I’d say this one tastes pretty similar to Uncle Tetsu. My only criticism is I wish it was bigger. I felt like I could have literally finished it in one sitting (and not because I’m a savage), but I tried reaaaaaaalllly hard to eat mini pie shapes of it for a few days until finally finishing it😅. Other than that, it tasted really good.
They sell a matcha flavour one as well that I’d like to try sometime. Unfortunately when I ordered it, they were having some technical difficulties with making it – so I shall be back soon 😎
