A newly opened burger joint located in the Currents of Windermere in Edmonton. They claim that they use all organic, all natural, antibiotic free, and hormone free (and the list goes on…) ingredients.
All burgers come with a side of fries.

[$18.50] Village California Mystery – Of the two burgers we tried, this one was definitely messier because of the sauce and guacamole. I ordered this burger with a brioche bun, and regular (no seasoning) fries. The burger was good, but there was nothing in particular that made the burger itself stand out. I ordered it specifically for the guacamole, but don’t really think it “added” much to the burger in terms of flavour.
[$19.99] Village Jalo Pkwy – This burger was also ordered with a brioche bun and cajun fries. I saw this one as well on the menu, but it had an egg…I normally love a runny egg, but not in a burger just because it gets way too messy (and it’s gross when you got nails 😕). The egg was well done and actually worked out for this burger. What really stood out to me about this burger though, was the BBQ Sauce. Anyone that knows me well, knows I’m not a fan of anything BBQ flavoured, but this one’s a real game changer. I definitely enjoyed this more than my own burger, and super glad we decided to cut the burgers in half so the other can try.🤣

In conclusion, we both enjoyed our meals, and it’s nice to see a wide variety of different burgers, but would it be a burger joint I’d go on a “regular basis”? Likely not. There are other fast food competitors in the area that do offer “burgers” for a fraction of the cost. Are they as “health cautious” options? Probably not, but I think for some crowds, the cost of the meal is a deal breaker.
I can definitely see myself coming back with some friends for a night out or to try another burger to create more content, but not for everyday.
